A lot has changed in the Cassandra world since last Summit, including major rewrites of several subsystems and the Tick-Tock release model. The Cassandra team's testing processes have changed to accommodate them. Philip and Jim will discuss the current state of testing for Cassandra, the role of testing in the development and release processes, and ongoing work to analyze and improve the testing process. About the Speakers James Witschey Software Engineer, DataStax Jim Witschey has a degree in music from the University of Virginia, and a degree in computer science from North Carolina State University. As a member of the Cassandra Test Engineering team at DataStax, he now tests Apache Cassandra, and builds and maintain tools to help others do the same. Philip Thompson Software Engineer, DataStax I'm a software engineer at DataStax, and the maintainer of CCM. I create tools to assist with testing Apache Cassandra.
