In this lightning talk, I will demonstrate how we use Unreal Engine in Equinor to maximize efficiency and minimize costs in various aspects of our operations. Using (immersive) real-time graphics helps us communicate efficiently, plan operations safely and bring down costs. By using Immersive VR, we can also provide workers with an understanding of their task before they enter the site. In highlighting a selection of our real-life applications, I show how the use of immersive real-time graphics can improve safety & efficiency as well as engaging stakeholders and workers alike.
