Learn some quick and easy techniques to turn the data of your business into visualizations that can create a meaningful impact on your decisions. This session will focus on a beginners look at the Microsoft Business Intelligence suite including SSIS, SSRS and PowerBI. Jamie Harrell, MBA is the business intelligence and analytics lead at Emory Goizueta Business School where she earned her MBA in 2016. She also received a degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech in 1996. Jamie was the first openly transgender MBA graduate of Goizueta Business School. She has been in the hardware and software engineering field for over 20 years, holding VP positions in 2 public companies as well as co-founding and selling two self-funded startups. Jamie is a frequent speaker, panelist and panel moderator. She has appeared at events ranging from Emory’s Out in Business panel and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians The Patient Perspective panel, to covering both technical and diversity topics at events such as the Women Who Code WeRise conference, and keynoting the LGBT Institute’s Diversity in Business Forum. She is the proud parent of two wonderful daughters, Nicole and Anna, and lives in Atlanta, GA.
