The idea of quality is often synonymous with the role of Quality Assurance Engineer, and the responsibility of quality considerations is often relegated to those with the title. I believe software companies can do better, and create a culture of quality that allows everyone to contribute to quality practices! Angela works as a QA Engineer at Vacasa. She believes that empathy and curiosity are driving forces of quality, and uses both to advocate for quality experiences for users and engineering teams. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the aisles of Powell’s or the beautiful scenery of the PNW. She has an enthusiasm for karaoke, and serious debates about what can truly be categorized as a sandwich.
