Jacob Zaval - Service Engineer, Microsoft Eric Hanko - Service Engineer, Microsoft We’ll tell the story of building the macOS Cookbook based on input from several members of the community, and our experiences at Community Summits and ChefConf 2017. Our experience with developing specific, internal-use cookbooks for macOS led to a need for a centralized, heavily-tested core cookbook with custom resources. Chef’s passionate community inspired us to release our core macOS Cookbook to the Supermarket, and to make it open for contribution under Microsoft’s GitHub organization.
