Shapeless all the things !! Without any doubt, Shapeless is one of the most interesting libraries in the Scala ecosystem. Although it started as an exploration of Scala's capabilities for dependent type based generic programming, it is now production ready. Despite it's undeniable values, few developers have actually played with it. Even fewer are using it in production. In this talk, we'll show real world use cases of shapeless. Most of them are or will be deployed in, critical, customer facing applications. We'll show how shapeless can make your code both safer, shorter and more fun(ctional).
