On any given day at www.ebay.com, we have ~400 million items for sale across ~15,000 categories. One way we have attempted to make any sense out of this set of items is to cluster them via a massive graph. We'll talk about our efforts to implement this clustering from the initial research stages all the way through current production systems, along with the technology challenges we faced along the way.
