Many people believe that only Python can be used for machine learning and that Javascript cannot. This is FALSE! Although it is true that Python has always been and still is the language of choice for machine learning, this is in part because of the language's maturity, the ecosystem's maturity, and the positive feedback loop of the language's early ML efforts. However, recent advancements in the JavaScript community have increased JavaScript's appeal to ML projects. I'll discuss how Javascript and machine learning go hand in hand, as well as its benefits and drawbacks.
