Abstract: The purpose of this talk is to introduce one to differences between Scala and Dotty, as well as to support for Dotty in Scala plugin for IntelliJ IDEA. First of all we will look at the differences between the type systems. Besides that one will learn which aspects of language support in IntelliJ IDEA have already been implemented or will be implemented in the near future. Among other things the talk will cover the build process of the project, the incremental compilation.
