Daniel Choudhury | Introducing RedwoodJS: Level Up Your Full-Stack Game
If you've ever felt bogged down by boilerplate code or tangled up in all the configuration it takes for a full-stack app? We’re not talking about hello worlds - real-world apps with tests, mocks, types, APIs. It's time for a breath of fresh air - with RedwoodJS, now a Vite framework, developer experience is front and centre. In this talk, we go through how Redwood integrates GraphQL API, Jest, Storybook, mocks, and how to use the CLI as your trusty companion taking care of boiler plate, and encouraging good conventions, allowing you to focus on what matters - building your product and shipping it. But there’s more than just getting started! We go through how Redwood’s built in Studio helps once your app is larger and mature, with so many moving parts, and glimpse at how we help you solve common problems as your apps (and ambitions) scale. Danny is one of the core team leads for RedwoodJS, an open-source full-stack framework for building startups. He first became involved with Redwood while developing his own product with the framework. Danny has spent the last decade consulting across various industries in the JS space, leading teams and building apps for web, mobile, and smart TVs. He now enjoys working with open source, collaborating with people from all over the world, and solving challenging problems.
