Graduated from ESSEC Business School, Clara Chappaz began her career in Asia at various e-commerce start-ups. In 2018, she earned an MBA from Harvard. She then joined Vestiaire Collective, the platform for buying and selling second-hand luxury products, in Paris as Commercial Director. In 2021, she took the lead of the French Tech mission, which supports the development of innovative tech start-ups in France, in line with government priorities. On the proposal of the Prime Minister, the President of the Republic appointed Clara Chappaz as Secretary of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, under the Minister of Higher Education and Research, on September 21, 2024.
