A test suite not only proves the correctness of the system, but also serves as documentation to any developer working on the application. In this talk, I have tried to distill everything I've learned about writing tests over the last few years. We will cover some of the testing helpers that Laravel provides, how I test things like middleware and validation and talk about general patterns that have proven useful to me over the years. This talk follows a "cookbook" approach. This means that most of the examples will be stand-alone and you can freely pick and choose any (or none!) of them to include in your applications.
